The communicative processes and specific features of language socialization that occur in online multiplayer games (Massively Multiplayer Online Games – MMO) are analyzed. The study covers the communicative relationships formed in the virtual environment, linguistic cooperation between players, the use of jargon and slang, as well as the impact of online games on the speech and socialization of young people. The article argues that online games are not only an entertainment tool, but also an important social platform for language learning, the development of communicative competence, and the formation of intercultural communication.
The usefulness of code-switching as a teaching strategy in bilingual foreign language instruction is examined in this article. In order to improve comprehension, make difficult topics easier to understand, and foster a positive learning environment, it examines how teachers deliberately switch between the target language and the students' mother tongue. The usage of code-switching by students at primary, secondary, and high school levels is examined in this study. Additionally, it emphasizes the benefits and possible disadvantages of this method for learning a language. According to the research, code-switching can improve overall learning results, lessen anxiety, and increase students' comprehension when applied properly. However, the development of communicative competence in the target language may be hampered by an over-reliance on the original tongue. Therefore, the article recommends a balanced and purposeful use of code-switching in bilingual classrooms.
Listening comprehension occupies a central position in foreign language learning and serves as a foundation for the development of communicative competence. In English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts, listening is often considered one of the most challenging skills because learners must process spoken language in real time while simultaneously interpreting meaning, context, and speaker intention. Effective listening comprehension involves a complex interaction of cognitive, linguistic, and contextual factors. This article explores the nature of listening comprehension in EFL, examines its theoretical foundations, discusses the major factors influencing listening performance, and highlights its significance in language acquisition. The study emphasizes the importance of adopting appropriate instructional strategies to improve learners’ listening abilities and overall language proficiency.
The increasing integration of technology into educational environments has created new opportunities for improving language instruction. Among various digital resources, podcasts have become an effective tool for developing listening comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, pronunciation, and communicative competence. Their flexibility and accessibility allow learners to engage with educational content beyond classroom boundaries. However, the successful use of podcasts depends on the application of appropriate methodological principles that guide the teaching process. This article examines the pedagogical foundations of podcast-based instruction, analyzes key methodological principles, and discusses their contribution to language learning effectiveness. The study also highlights practical recommendations for integrating podcasts into foreign language education.
Mazkur tadqiqot O‘zbekiston hududida erkin boqiladigan chorva hayvonlari (mol, qo‘y va echki) go‘shtida og‘ir metallar — arsen (As), kadmiy (Cd), qo‘rg‘oshin (Pb) hamda boshqa toksik elementlar va mikroorganizmlar tarqalishi, ularning kelib chiqish manbalari, organizmda to‘planish xususiyatlari va inson salomatligiga xavfini baholashga bag‘ishlangan. Tadqiqot doirasida ilmiy adabiyotlar tahlil qilinib, xorijiy va mahalliy tajribalar umumlashtirildi hamda go‘sht mahsulotlarida zararli moddalarning tarqalish qonuniyatlari o‘rganildi. Amaliy qismda turli hududlardagi go‘sht sotish do‘konlaridan olingan hayvon namunalarining mushak va jigar to‘qimalari tekshirildi. Tahlillar atom-absorbsion spektrofotometriya (AAS), induktiv bog‘langan plazma optik emissiya spektrometriyasi (ICP-OES) hamda yuqori samarali suyuqlik xromatografiyasi (HPLC) hamda standart mikrobiologik usullar yordamida amalga oshirildi. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatdiki, ayrim hollarda go‘sht tarkibida qo‘rg‘oshin va kadmiy miqdori belgilangan sanitariya-gigiyenik me’yorlardan yuqori bo‘lishi mumkin. Og‘ir metallar, ayniqsa, jigar va mushak to‘qimalarida ko‘proq to‘planishi aniqlandi. Shuningdek, tadqiqot natijalari og‘ir metallarning miqdori hayvonning yoshi, boqish sharoiti va atrof-muhit holatiga bog‘liq ravishda o‘zgarishini ko‘rsatdi. Erkin boqiladigan chorva hayvonlarida sanoat chiqindilari, transport vositalari gazlari, ifloslangan suv va ozuqa ta’siri ostida og‘ir metallar va mikroorganizmlar bilan zararlanish ehtimoli yuqoriroq bo‘lishi kuzatildi. Mikroorganizmlar va ayrim toksik moddalarning mavjudligi oziq-ovqat xavfsizligiga bevosita ta’sir ko‘rsatadi. Biroq ayrim namunalarda og‘ir metallar miqdorining yuqoriligi va patogen mikroorganizmlar mavjudligi potensial xavf omili sifatida baholandi. Mazkur tadqiqot natijalari O‘zbekiston hududida go‘sht mahsulotlari xavfsizligini ta’minlashda ekologik monitoringni kuchaytirish, veterinariya-sanitariya nazoratini takomillashtirish, ozuqa sifatini muntazam tekshirish va mahsulotlarni laboratoriya tahlilidan o‘tkazish zarurligini ko‘rsatadi. Ushbu ilmiy ish chorva mahsulotlarining sifat va xavfsizlik darajasini oshirish hamda aholi salomatligini himoya qilishda muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi.
