This article discusses the importance of student assessment criteria in European higher education institutions and the concept of their role in improving the educational process and students' knowledge. It also discusses the concept of objectives of the assessment process and provides an example of a standard assessment process. A brief overview of assessment systems is given, and the advantages and disadvantages of the applied normative-criteria structures are described in detail using examples from leading European universities.

Horsetail (Ferula asafetida) has a strong sulfur smell, is rich in medicinal substances and has been used as a spice and a medicinal plant in folk medicine for centuries in many eastern countries. As a result of recent studies, a number of promising active properties of kavrak have been revealed. Examples of this are its antioxidant, digestive enzymes, memory improvement, neuroprotective, antispasmodic, hypotensive, antifungal, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antitoxic, and antidiabetic properties. These phytochemical properties of kavrak can effectively solve various problems of pharmacological and clinical research.
