В данной статье рассмотрены основы использования ветвящихся процессов для моделирования распространения инфекционных заболеваний и предложена более сложная модель, учитывающая переменную заразность, наличие иммунных индивидов, структуры сетей контактов, гетерогенность индивидов и вмешательства общественного здравоохранения. Анализируя влияние различных факторов, таких как вакцинация и социальное дистанцирование, данная модель позволяет более точно предсказать динамику эпидемического процесса и оценить эффективность контроля и предотвращения эпидемий.
