THE EFFECT OF SCHOOL STUDENTS' IELTS CERTIFICATION ON COLLEGE CANDIDATES

Abstract. The number of schoolchildren earning certification from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) has dramatically increased in recent years. With an emphasis on academic preparedness, admission prospects, and competition, this study investigates the effects of early IELTS certification on college applicants. The study emphasizes this trend's benefits and drawbacks. IELTS certification increases students' global competitiveness and language skills, but it also increases academic pressure and application rivalry. The study comes to the conclusion that in order to optimize the advantages of early certification, a balanced educational strategy is required.
