Abstract. The essence of state financial control, its role in economic management and issues of assessing its effectiveness are analyzed. The reforms being implemented in the system of state financial control in the Republic of Uzbekistan, measures aimed at ensuring the rational use of budget funds, strengthening financial discipline and preventing corruption are studied. Also, proposals and recommendations are developed to improve the effectiveness of state financial control.
