Abstract. This study offers an extensive examination of the literary career and artistic legacy of Utkir Hoshimov, one of the most influential representatives of modern Uzbek literature. The article investigates the evolution of his creative work across different historical periods, focusing on his prose, drama, and publicistic writings. Particular emphasis is placed on his exploration of moral philosophy, psychological realism, and socio-cultural transformation. By applying a multidisciplinary approach that combines literary theory, historical context, and textual analysis, the study demonstrates that Hoshimov’s works function both as aesthetic achievements and as critical reflections of Uzbek society. The findings reveal that his contribution lies not only in thematic richness but also in the development of narrative techniques that bridge traditional and modern literary paradigms.
