USE OF INNOVATIVE METHODS IN TEACHING ENGLISH LANGUAGE TO PRIMARY CLASSES

Abstract. This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the study of the use of innovative methods in teaching English to primary school students. The research highlights the importance of applying modern pedagogical technologies and non-traditional teaching approaches in early language education. It emphasizes the critical role of innovative methods in fostering interest, motivation, and active participation among young learners, as well as in enhancing their communicative competencies in English. The work systematically analyzes various innovative strategies, including game-based learning, interactive technologies, project-based activities, and digital educational tools. Special attention is given to the adaptation of teaching methods to the age-related psychological and cognitive characteristics of primary school pupils. The study explores how the use of multimedia resources, interactive tasks, role-playing games, and creative activities contribute to the development of language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English.
