Abstract. This article examines the plot and composition of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's novel The Sorrows of Young Werther. The epistolary structure, plot development, and dramatic composition of the novel are analyzed. The article discusses the thematic significance of the plot and composition, as well as the literary devices and artistic approaches used in the work.
