Abstract. This article discusses the recent efforts in strategic planning for the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan, including the chosen strategic directions, the challenges encountered in economic and social development, and the appropriate solutions to address these challenges. Additionally, it provides a clear understanding of the essence and core principles of modern strategic planning.
