Abstract. This study aims to study the morphological, syntactic and grammatical features of ethnographies in English and Uzbek folklore. Ethnographisms, that is, words and phrases that reflect the ethnographic characteristics of the people, help to understand the traditions and customs of both cultures. The research analyzes the structure, use and grammatical features of ethnographies.
