Abstract. “Almalyk MMC” is faced with constant problems in production enterprises that require constant improvement and implementation of advanced technologies. BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an innovative technology that changes the design and management approach of manufacturing processes. This article explores the role of BIM as the third generation of design and its application to the activities of manufacturing enterprises and discusses the advantages and difficulties of the process.
