Abstract. In this scientific article,the thoughts and opinions aimed at developing the student’s historical thinking,in particular,the understanding of national indentity,universal and national values,theoretical bases and analyzes,suggestion and recommendations were given on the formation of historical thinking in the process of education and upbringing.
