Abstract. The construction industry is one of the key drivers of sustainable economic growth and plays a fundamental role in infrastructure development, urbanization, and technological modernization. This study examines the development trajectory of Uzbekistan’s construction sector in comparison with globa innovative trends, including digitalization, automation, energy efficiency, and green construction standards. Using analytical, comparative, and statistical methods, the study evaluates the current state of the industry, identifies the main challenges, and assesses the potential impact of implementing innovative tools such as BIM, COBie, KPI-based monitoring systems, and environmentally sustainable technologies. The results demonstrate that Uzbekistan is gradually integrating digital solutions into project management, strengthening regulatory frameworks, and improving the efficiency of construction processes. Nevertheless, the full potential of innovative technologies remains underutilized due to skill gaps, limited digital infrastructure, and insufficient standardization. The study concludes that the implementation of advanced project management methods, expansion of digital modeling, adoption of green standards, and modernization of building materials production are crucial for enhancing competitiveness and ensuring sustainable development of the construction industry.
