Abstract. This article describes the lifestyle and living conditions of people living in the cities and villages of Karakalpakstan in the years after the war. In this scientific work, it is emphasized that the 50-60 years of the last century there was a period of socio-economic and demographic changes in the republic. Furthermore, based on the analysis of historical data, the researcher tried to show the socio-economic life of the people of Karakalpakstan as a historical lesson. The author also used archival materials he collected.
