Abstract. In this article, the service sector is an important component of the national economy. It plays a significant role in the socio-economic development of the country, in particular, in meeting its needs, providing employment, raising the standard and quality of life, and forming the state budget. In addition, the service industry is multi-disciplinary and operates in various directions. The service sector is important for the country's economic growth, creating cheap jobs, providing employment and reducing poverty. According to the calculations of the International Labor Organization, a 1% increase in the service sector reduces poverty by an average of 1.5%.
