Abstract. The concept of the KPI system as a quantitative indicator of the achievement of organizational goals; the quality indicator of the activity of the department and specific employees, their professional performance, the effectiveness of the performed tasks. Key performance indicators are a way to increase the organization's profits, they encourage employees to achieve their goals, results, reduce fixed and variable costs, increase labor productivity, improve competitive advantages. An example of an effective and representative KPI system, including the formation of HR. The author paid special attention to the principles of building a system of key performance indicators.
